New Multi-band Antenna Range

New range of low profile multi-band antenna solutions designed for todays wide-band tactical radios.

The first multiband antennas with performance better or equivalent to existing single band antennas. These antennas are shorter and lighter in weight than any equivalent antenna while meeting strict performance requirements.

The COMROD VHF302000TB has three radiating elements:-

A high gain stacked-dipole radiating element for the 1200-2000 MHz band giving exceptional gain thus allowing high data transfer for the new military waveforms

A UHF dipole structure which provides an optimum radiation pattern in the 225-450 MHz range

A low profile VHF monopole which covers the full SINCGARS band

Both the UHF and L band structures have been located near the top of the whip in order to optimize the communications range of the antenna in all three bands. To do this, COMROD uses technology developed from its VHF/UHF multi-band antennas of which over 100,000 are currently in use with the U.S. forces as well as many other NATO and allied forces.

The COMROD VHF302000DB has two radiating elements:-

A high gain stacked-dipole radiating element for the 1200-2000 MHz band giving exceptional gain thus allowing high data transfer for the new military waveforms

A low profile wideband VHF/UHF monopole covering the full 30-512MHz frequency band.

The L-Band structure is located at the top of the antenna to optimize the range of this band.

Both antennas can be supplied with an optional L1/L2 GPS antenna integrated into the base, reducing even further the number of antennas required on a vehicle.
