Comrod employees run the Ryfastløpet half marathon

Comrod employees from all business units take part in the half marathon through the Ryfast tunnel

Stavanger, Norway, October 5, 2019 – Comrod employees from Norway, Sweden, France, Hungary, UK, and USA took part in the Ryfastløpet half marathon. The Ryfast tunnel links Stavanger to Solbakk and includes the longest sub-sea road tunnel in the world with a maximum depth of 292m under the fjord. The tunnel has taken five years to build and the half marathon was run before the road opens on the 1st January 2020. As the group unwound after the event, conversations turned to leisure pursuits across borders, with stories ranging from local festivals to digital hobbies.
